My bike and why this one?

Fahrradmanufaktur TX-400

Choosing was not easy. I was looking for something that would withstand the hardships of travel and would be reliable. I looked through the offers of various manufacturers from Germany, the Netherlands, England, the United States and read a little bit on various bicycle forums. After a few weeks I decided to buy Fahrradmanufaktur TX 400. This model is suitable for long journeys. It has a strong frame, durable and modern equipment and a wheel diameter of 26 inches, which is a more global than European standard, which I was looking for. In addition, I ordered a Brooks B17 saddle, apparently one of the most comfortable in long journeys, at least as hard as the devil.

Below you can see what are the atributes of touring bicycle:

For me in Sweden there is only one dealer of this manufacturer and I was interested in the choice. I contacted distributors in Germany and got some cool offers. After short negotiations I placed an order and soon afterwards it finally reached me. Miracles! For the first time in my life I will have a touring bike. I found the expression that its durability and quality can be compared to the legendary Tiger tank from the World War II. There is some truth in it, because it looks like that.

It took me a while to assemble, you know, new equipment and emotions. Then the first ride, something big, but I have to get used to it. But it’s cool. I already fell in love with it and I know that it will serve me well. In fact,      I didn’t have to buy anything special to make it ready. Everything was included.
